Registration

STEMley 2016 is now at capacity. We are currently adding teams to a waiting list that will be called upon if already-registered teams are unable to attend or if they do not pay their registration fee by Sept. 30. Please click here to e-mail the event organizers directly if you wish to be added to the waiting list.

Note that the Southwest International off-season event in Windsor, Ontario on Oct. 29 still has spots available – to register for that event, please click here.

Payment Info:

This year all teams will register for their chosen Ontario off-season event(s) through a central registration system. Discounts are available for registering early and for registering for multiple events.

Early Registration: (by June 30)
1 Event: $375;  2 Events: $650;  3 Events: $900

Regular Registration:
1 Event: $425;  2 Events: $750;  3 Events: $1000

We are instituting a “buddy system” to assist rookie teams in attending their first competition.  Rookie teams may partner with an established (veteran) team and register for The STEMley as buddies.  In this case, each team’s registration fee will be reduced (more details to follow).  Veterans are expected to assist their rookies in preparing for the event and during the event, while each team competes independently.  Rookies and veterans who are already paired up should indicate their buddy’s team number by e-mailing stemleycup@gmail.com to let us know.

Rookies or veteran teams seeking buddies should also send us an e-mail.  The STEMley planning committee will do our best to match rookies and veterans and, if successful, will reduce each team’s registration fee accordingly.

Teams are encouraged to bring new or used Lego that they may wish to donate to the St. Mary D.R.E.A.M.S. program (Dominican Republic Education and Medical Support).
