When: Saturday, November 9, 2019
Where: St. Mary Catholic Secondary School, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Some Exciting News!
Due to unprecedented demand for the STEMley Cup Championship this year the planning committee is opening a second competition after the 2019 STEMley Cup.
The STEMley Cup Championship will take place as planned on Saturday November 9th. Teams who’ve been confirmed will receive emails over the next few days asking if they’d still like to compete on Saturday, or would like to change to Sunday.
The second event, called Overtime Sunday, will take place on Sunday November 10th. Overtime Sunday will be a standard Deep Space competition at the same venue as the STEMley Cup, without some of the presentations and activities we offer during the STEMley Cup. It’s still a great opportunity to get practice and experience an event before kickoff. Teams on our waiting list will receive invitations next week. We may even make room for more teams, so feel free to register here if you haven’t already.
Cost – Overtime Sunday
Early Registration (by September 30): $375
Regular Registration: $425
Team Registration – Overtime Sunday
The registration form can be found here.

Due to the current political uncertainty within the education sector in Ontario, it ultimately might not be possible to hold The STEMley Cup and Overtime Sunday in 2019. Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict what may occur between now and November. The organizers will strive to communicate any changes in a timely manner, and will offer full refunds in the event of a cancellation. As we are well aware that this same situation might also affect many school-based teams in the upcoming year, we thank you in advance for your understanding.
